Been eyeing the alpinist for a while now and then the new Seiko GMT released I like them both. Yes, they belong in 2 different categories but which one would you pick?

I rlly want the gmt too. But the fact that the bezel doesn’t click has kind of killed it for me.

I own an SSK Batman and it’s great but the Alpinist is a classic and a Prospex.

I'll play contrarian, GMT, more so if you don't:

A. Own a GMT

B. Have a classic SKX case

Long Island and others have plenty of insert options, and it will only be a matter of time until bezels, and click springs are available.

For pure GMT use a friction, two-way bezel is better, faster to switch to boot.

I'm part of the minority that doesn't like the Alpinist so I voted SSK GMT. I hate cathedral hands. Love that timeless SKX case.
