We can all see the direction this is going if they are to follow the Rolex heritage. The first rangemaster, a smaller 369 field watch. We can suppose the rangemaster II will be a characteristics polar dial, orange GMT hand, fixed steel bezel. I think the possibility of this is predicated on availability of GMT movements. Mark has said miyota is keeping their new gmt under lock and key. You otherwise have the Seiko NH34 however its quite a thick movement. I guess we'll see next year. It's a must buy for me though if it is a Explorer II homage.
I really think they nailed the design. At a time when a lot of brands are going the vintage, patinad, tropical look this does the opposite. It's like the future of 1999 aesthetic. It feels very james bond. And very wearable dimensions. Overall nailed it. Part tudor, part Breitling, part field watch. It's great

It's a great movement. However I don't see the appeal with most smooth sweeping quartz that run off batteries (as opposed to the spring drive which generates its own power). The battery should drain considerably quicker. I've never understood the hate for a ticking second hand 🤷🏽♂️
