Micro from Down Under

Hey folks, here are a few shots of one of my dailies. Panzera TimeMaster 42

Seems to be very little about them here on WC. They're a micro brand based out of Sydney, Australia. No brick & mortar stores anywhere far as I'm aware. Always seem to selling with 20/30% discount. They did receive some positive publicity a few years ago from the UK motoring journalists on Top Gear.

I quite like it for it's general build quality and good specs at the price. The venerable NH35A movement with 40hrs power reserve, sapphire crystal with AR coatings, signed crown and a clean legible dial.

As you can see from the pictures it goes about it's duties on either a NDC style Nato strap or an Archer silicone strap in bright yellow to tie in with the 12 O'Clock marker.

Overall a good purchase. In the last couple of years It's had a fair share of time on wrist whilst I've been working on commercial vehicles, definitely not been babied! Holding up very well.

One of my coworkers has a couple Panzera watches, he loves them. Based on handling the ones he has, I think they are well built watches with a distinct style.

I think part of the lack of talk about them is that their styling is a bit Vegimite. Either you love it, or you think they're odd/ugly.

I keep seeing this brand advertise on Facebook and I never pulled the trigger on any because I did not know the quality of their built. I like the looks of their models. Do you recommend them?

Totally agree on the styling. I don't find much else in the range takes my fancy

Based on my experience I'd say give them a try if you find a style you like. Remember to factor in any import costs over list price if outside Australia. I wonder if this is why they're always discounted, to cover that cost?

I’ve got a few Panzera’s and really enjoy them. They were 100% online until recently when they opened their 1st bricks and motor store but it’s by appointment only.

For those that haven’t tried them, you should put them on your list. 🇦🇺🦘
