Distressing my disappointing Hodinkee leather strap
I never really liked my #hodinkee #leatherstraps bund "Newman" strap. It's not worth the price, by a long shot, and I've always been disappointed when wearing it. So, I did some googling on leather distressing. Today I lightly rubbed the bund portion with rubbing alcohol and let my 7-year-old kid beat it up. Looks pretty good! I haven't yet distressed the strap itself, but that's next. Will probably give the bund another treatment and some rough up with the recommended sand paper and/or wire brush. Stay tuned.

Following up on this, I went even more distressed with my disappointing #hodinkee leather strap and put some OxyClean on it, as recommended by my wife. It's now ULTRA distressed...
