Seiko Speedtimer SSC813P1

Hey there!

I'm talking about Brazil and here the offer of good watches is not as large as in the USA or Europe. Furthermore, the exchange rate difference significantly reduces consumers' purchasing power.

So, there are a few chronograph offers. I've been looking at the Seiko Speedtimer Prospex very closely. What do you think of this watch?

Thank you all!

That's was my thoughts. But it is good to get some more opinions. Thanks!

Beautiful watch!

I've been on the fence about it as well 😂

I don't think the Rolex AD will call me anytime soon about a Daytona and this model is pretty much the next best thing.

I recommend you try it on first, it wears a bit small.

It's a total no-brainer for a Panda Chrono in that budget range. 💪🎯

You get a lot of value with this watch for the price, and the solar quartz aspect makes it a great grab ‘n’ go. I’ve read some negative issues with its lume, but that seems like a minor one

I don’t care much for chronos but if I got one, this would be it.

My brother in law has one and he really likes it.

On my 6,5 inch wrist, I think that'll be nice.

Well, lume is not a big issue for chronographs.

Very nice watch. Looks far better in person. Photos don’t do it justice. But, typical Seiko problems of rubbish clasp and bracelet could be better.

I've had this one for a few months now, it's one of my favorite quartz watches and I always get a positive comment at work when I wear it on casual Fridays. My wrist is under 7 in so it fits perfectly.

I own this watch. 6 5/8 inch wrist. It wears a touch small. And the date window is worthless. From a distance it looks wonderful. Close up, legibility is difficult. If you actually plan on using the chrono function, it’s not the best for usability/legibility. It does have a split second timer however. I enjoy mine mainly for looks and have a Barton caramel brown racing strap en route to me now. I’d rate it a 10 out of 10 for design, style and wearability and a 6 out of 10 for usability.

Thanks a lot for your considerations!
