Stainless steel Rolex are always a great go-to choice for traveling. They are robust, light, sleek and give you a status (as they say, find yourself in need in the middle of the desert, a beduin will trade your Rolex to save your life :D)

But since I am not a fan of Explorer 2 I highly recommend one of the best and unappreciated Rolex of all time, the Yachtmaster. Sporty but not flashy, incredibly comfortable to wear and not so common to see around!

Although pay attention in some places, in Italy, where I was born, might signal the last moment you see your watch 🤣

Money is relative WatchWizard, what happened to me could happen to someone else for a smaller or a bigger amount. I find it annoying regardless.

Real life problems are very, very different accidents.

I could not tell. AP Royal oak are hard to evaluate from a picture because of their particular shape and structure. A Rolex for example is much easier when you look at lugs for example. Loupe This inspected and graded the watch, mentioning it was polished was the minimum they could do. They pride themselves being expert. They dated this watch completely wrong and provided a set that they knew did not belong to the watch, hence they decided to write “circa 2000”. I find it bad practice.

That is definitely helpful...but their reply will be the same about their conditions of sale "we post high-res picture and we ship what is photographed".

Which is what happened. too bad the watch is not a "circa 2000" hence those papers and boxes do not belong to the watch.

If they wrote circa 2005, I would have raised a flag before or during bidding.
