It was a perfect watch for me! Really liked it and it resembles a lot the longines spirit (with better size). I prefered other watches in the end (well the spirit is one of my main watches), but it was a perfect low(er) budget choice 🔥
I have the SRPG29, which is the same model except with a blue dial. Yes it’s only got a hardlex crystal and hollow end links, but I still think it’s a great watch and would recommend it to anyone looking for a field watch in the sub-$500 range.
Yea, I see them at about $180 or so. I'd suggest going to the "Long Island Watch" website and clicking the "$150-$200" price option and see some pretty cool alternate choices.
Looks good, but I REALLY REALLY REALLY don't need day

Personally, I like the textured dial variants like the SRPG33/35/37. You can pick up an aftermarket bracelet and plenty of straps.
If you like Flieger style models, check out the SRPH27 and SRPH21/23
It was a good watch for its time but there’s a newer Seiko 5 lineup now that has better design and specifications
You’re right, I’m drunk
