Q: How did you get into watch collecting?
Oh baby a quartz seiko time and date titanium beauty in about 1997. No chance I know the model or reference. Blue dial. Gateway drug 🤌

Ironman
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Pretty typical. Buy what you really like. Don’t overpay for something you’re not truly smitten with. And stop thinking the watch is going to pay you back. Buy it because you want to wear it. There are other ways to invest money. Watches are toys.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Jaeger LeCoultre. I wish they were more loved but secretly love that they are loved by the very addicted and experienced.
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
It changes. Grails that will never be attainable never made sense to me. The Fifty Fathoms was my first “grail” now I own it. It has lived up to my dream for almost 10 years now. It’s never for sale. I feel almost as passionate about my Speedmaster. That was my first “real” watch.
