Where do you prefer to buy your watches?

If you’re like me, you have a constant uneasiness around larpers. You also go to several different places to purchase your watches. Whether it is the brands online store, a watch brick and mortar, eBay or the crackhead that hangs out behind Petco. But we all have our preferences of which one we like to deal with the most. With a brand site, the prices might be higher but the shipping is fast and you know it can be trusted. With eBay, you might get a great deal but not get your watch until robots have overtaken humanity with their rayguns and flying Kia Fortes. So let everyone know what you think. If you select “Other”, please leave a comment. I’d love to know other places to look for deals.

So theft?

A. I clicked d by accident

If it's a commonly ripped off one I'd really like to get it direct from the manufacturer or a reliable retailer.

So many watches, so little time.

I assume you mean when buying new watches.

Perfect world, at this point in my watch collecting journey, I'd go brick & mortar.

Get to try it on, see and feel what it looks like in real life and not in the boring ass brand product images, build a bit of a relationship with a SA or AD.

I’ve used all of these, nearly in equal measure. A pricier watch will be bought from the AD or brand directly, there’s a ton of great finds on eBay if you look too.

I'd love to buy new from bricks n mortar shops, but with limited funds,an obsessive personality and thousands of gorgeous watches out there most of my purchases are from ebay. I know this seems harsh but let the previous owner take the hit (bit like cars really) there's some good deals to be had,yes you can be stung and get a lemon but you can also get a great piece at a great price. But if I had the funds a local shop all the way.

A basic brand would be on line but the real deal... Brick and Mortal for sure!
