Greetings my fellow watch enthusiasts. I have been looking forward to checking the new Laureato Copper in person ever since it was announced. I finally had an opportunity today to try on this special watch 😍 The watch does not disappoint in person. The bracelet feels silky smooth. The dial color looks more understated in person compared to the promotional picture. There is a subtle sunray effect on the text plaque. The 38 mm case size fits my 6.2-inch wrist perfectly. What do you think? Would you consider adding it to your watch collection?
Welcome to my WatchCrunch profile.
It’s not for me but I can fully understand why one would like it. If you do decide to go for it then enjoy it!
I’m a fan of the 42. Tried on the Green dial yesterday and it looks and feels awesome. I’d consider it strongly.
I love this watch! They need to make all the colors available in 38...
If i had the 💵 I wouldn’t even hesitate. great piece
Sorry, I feel like it's maybe a bit big. Maybe it's the lugs?

Can’t agree more Max! It still buffles me why they decided to discontinue all previous 38 models. They are impossible to find in the secondary market, especially the chrono ones 🫠

I think it looks a bit oversized in the picture because the watch head is very close to the camera lens. Integrated bracelet watches tend to wear a bit larger as well. The fit is actually perfect in person.

It is indeed a sought-after piece. I have been on the waitlist for a month and there are still 5 persons ahead of me 😂
I have a much older GP in my collection a 1966 (that’s the model) small seconds. It is a favorite in my collection. It was made in the ‘90’s, a former high point of GP, which seems to be coming back and is now independent again. I think if the watch appeals, you’ll likely have years of happy ownership.
Of all the watches I have never encountered in person this one is easily the one I would like to see the most.
That's probably for the best because if the dial is any good I might have to buy it...

I only got to know the brand recently and had become a fan ever since. It is definitely an underrecognized brand and I hope this new piece can help to put it back on the map.

Touché my friend 🤝

They used to make them in all kinds of colors from plain gray or silver to purple with gems not long ago but they weren't very popular I believe.
Like so many mid-size watches it probably wasn't worth it... but who knows what the new-old management will do, maybe they disagreed precisely on that with Kering and bought them out just for bringing back the 38mm Laureato 😄
Looks dope on you! GP is killing it! I hate ‘watches as investments’ but FWIW it looks like resale on this reference in particular could be pretty strong for a while, particularly if GP keeps production low. For the sake of the rest of us, I hope they don’t!
