Greetings my fellow watch enthusiasts. I have been looking forward to checking the new Laureato Copper in person ever since it was announced. I finally had an opportunity today to try on this special watch ๐ The watch does not disappoint in person. The bracelet feels silky smooth. The dial color looks more understated in person compared to the promotional picture. There is a subtle sunray effect on the text plaque. The 38 mm case size fits my 6.2-inch wrist perfectly. What do you think? Would you consider adding it to your watch collection?

Itโs not for me but I can fully understand why one would like it. If you do decide to go for it then enjoy it!
I love this watch! ย They need to make all the colors available in 38...ย
If i had the ๐ต I wouldnโt even hesitate. great piece
Sorry, I feel like it's maybe a bit big. Maybe it's the lugs?ย

Canโt agree more Max! It still buffles me why they decided to discontinue all previous 38 models. They are impossible to find in the secondary market, especially the chrono ones ๐ซ

I think it looks a bit oversized in the picture because the watch head is very close to the camera lens. Integrated bracelet watches tend to wear a bit larger as well. The fit is actually perfect in person.

It is indeed a sought-after piece. I have been on the waitlist for a month and there are still 5 persons ahead of me ๐
I have a much older GP in my collection a 1966 (thatโs the model) small seconds. It is a favorite in my collection. It was made in the โ90โs, a former high point of GP, which seems to be coming back and is now independent again. I think if the watch appeals, youโll likely have years of happy ownership.ย

I only got to know the brand recently and had become a fan ever since. It is definitely an underrecognized brand and I hope this new piece can help to put it back on the map.

Looks dope on you! GP is killing it! I hate โwatches as investmentsโ but FWIW it looks like resale on this reference in particular could be pretty strong for a while, particularly if GP keeps production low. For the sake of the rest of us, I hope they donโt!

I prefer the yellow, but the overall design is very clean and appealing.
thanks for posting this!
shopping around for an integrated sports watch lately, Laureato 38 is top contender at the moment. Not so many reports on them, especially this copper colour!
As a potential buyer of the Laureato 38, my only hesitation is the movement:
GP3300 is a dress watch movement dating back to the 90's? With only 46 hours of power reserve, I imagine there's not much update to it? Anyone who can share some info about it is much appreciated.
