Ideal mechanical watch for the seaside

Which mechanical watch, paired with what type of strap/bracelet, would you wear for a day of seaside fun? No G-Shocks as that’s a pretty obvious choice. 😁

How much fun is it if I'm worried about the time? Anyway, Vostock Amphibia with a Marine Nationale strap because

Am I the only one who thinks dive watches are for taking to the ocean?

Maybe playing in the sand or go for a swim in the sea? The Vostock is a good choice.

Any specific brand and model?

I'd wear this.

A Vaer D5 on an Erika's MN. Durable enough to be useful, affordable enough to not worry about.

I’m basic; I wear my either Sub, SMP, or Pelagos. Lucky enough to have many beaches nearby.

Is there a mechanical g-shock? Anyway I’d wear my Orient Kamasu on a tropic rubber strap;

My Dan Henry on it’s rubber strap;

Or my CW C60

But basically a diver with a rubber strap or bracelet.

I wasn’t familiar with this brand. Just went to check out their collections and it looks pretty good. Thanks for sharing.

Well, someone might just recommend G-Shock even if I said mechanical 🤷🏻‍♂️😂

Your CW looks awesome!

I was actually curious when I asked that thought I might have missed something.

Thanks I was really taken with the sapphire dial, which is strange as I generally don’t go for skeletal dials. They also do a blue and black version but I wanted a bit of colour.

When did you buy the CW? I don’t see this model on their current website.

I got this second hand through chrono24 but they do sell second hand versions of it on the Chris Ward site. I think it came out last year.
