Breitling Authentication

Breitling experts :) Does this watch look legit to you ?

If you have to ask it probably isn't

I'm not a Breitling expert, and Breitling has used ETA movements in the past, but the finishing on the rotor looks horrible, and so does the engraving.

·

Even when Breitling used the ETA, the finish was exceptional. Look at tooling on the baseplate, rotor, bridges, ECT.

Here are some photos from an online listing. You can judge for yourself. Failing that, you can always take it to an AD for verification.

I’d never claim to be able to authenticate a watch based on pics posted online. Obvious fakes can be detected. But given the state of super clones you can’t expect any forum to give you the kind of guidance that one would want to purchase.

Right, entirely different.
