Is this as thin as it looks, or is that just due to the wide flat shape? Red Sunday spotted! I'm not sure why there are bars going through the day display unless it's to echo that oh-so-80's logo typeface.

That little A, presumably for AM/PM is really tiny. Then again, the frequency with which anyone needs to check that is so low as to make this sensible.

It is as thin as it looks. Those bars are basically the day indicator. The a is for am/pm and yes as small as it can be. I'm. Usually more of a 24hoir fan though. But as you've said, the watch screams 80s with any part
