this is an older pic before the crystal totally broke, so i sent it off to get repaired at a well reviewed place. they called today and told me they couldn't get the parts cause the watch was too old....lame. so i thought on here maybe somebody knows of a place that specializes in old ass watches or something. it runs just fine i just need a damn crystal lol.
but it's not the end of the world, I'm eying a working WWI Trench watch right now for only $250. I think it's a Gruen? It has the standard WWI Trench Dials, but what I love about the Omega is the Roman Numerals and military time! and throw in the age (1916), I just want to be able to wear the freakin' thing! with all the tech today you're telling me not one person on Earth knows how to fix/find a crystal for this watch?
please help!

If you told us the diameter, and height it might help.
It's not lame. They probably wanted to service a classic vintage watch right.

Is your shop of choice used to vintage? People I've used had no problem getting parts for defunct makers of similar vintage.
I always recommend googling "clock repair near me" because watch repair results turn up too many useless jewelers and battery changers. This place looks like a good bet. https://www.northvilleclock.com/watch-repair
