Need some advice here

My fiancé put me in watch jail until January, but I’m torn between pulling the trigger on a 39mm Speedmaster or a Tudor Ranger. I have a bb58 and a explorer 2 as my go to watches currently. Would be interested to hear opinions on what rounds out the rotation a bit more!

I’m a bit confused on what you mean by bond watch, a big crown sub?

I own the Ranger. Great watch, great bracelet and clasp. It feels slightly bigger than my BB58 blue but same case.

Speedie has almost the same if not shorter lug to lugs on the new one. Bracelet has way more taper.

All depends on what you are looking for. The Ranger is very toolish and the dial is very flat matte almost grey. The speedie can flex a bit more dressy if you need to dress it up.

Awesome points, thanks man! The ranger feels a bit “saucer-like” on my wrist (they’re a bit small) but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t tempted to get it and put the bracelet on my bb58, as I think the ranger looks great on any strap you put on it

You have a BB58, I would diversify and go with the Omega.

Go for the icon, arguably the most famous watch of all....

Plus you've already got Tudor 👍🏻

I think I am very biased in this case, last year I sold my Speedy Reduced, I had it for more than 20 years but I no longer used it, I let it go because I stopped liking it so I would go for the Tudor

I’m interested, what made you stop liking the Speedmaster, if you feel comfortable sharing

I don't know if it was the small size or the subdials or what it was but I didn't like it anymore it seemed boring without charisma

I assumed you were referring to a seamaster, I was just confused as to why you referred to it as the original bond watch haha

Ranger! There’s such a great look of simple elegance and class for the Tudor. It’s a tool watch but has such a nice minimalist look to it.

For diversification, I would say the speedy
