Is that a defect on the AP CEO's Royal Oak?
Was watching the latest Hodinkee Talking Watches episode where François-Henry Bennahmias, the CEO of Audemars Piguet, was interviewed.

It seems to me that the '60' marker on the tachymeter of this Royal Oak Offshore did not align to the 12 o'clock index.
Would love to hear from you and see whether you also notice this. If you also see this - is this normal? Surely the CEO would not want the YouTube audience to notice this, if this was by any chance some sort of defect.

While it does look like that in the pictures it's really hard to say. The watch doesn't look like it's laying flat, it has a tilt. So it most likely is a visual illusion due to parallax.

Naw, you can see it in the first picture too. The 60 is a smidge to the left of the 12 marker. Good eye, @werdna.
Probably why the CEO grabbed that one for his personal collection. Sly guy, a minor defect like that on a well known watch guy's wrist and he might have an appreciating watch for auction.
I've learned in this life that nothing is perfect except for my wife so I wouldn't sweat it.
