GADA help

Looking for a new GADA - I’m thinking $1500 budget - Size and specs are a big deal for most of us. 38mm - 40mm max. Looking for the best bang for my buck. Also, doesn’t matter Swiss,Japanese,German… etc.

Also, if anyone thinks I should just keep saving up my watch fund and buy something a little down the road with more “class” I wouldn’t hate suggestions for that either.

Thanks 👍🏻

GADA? Sorry for being thick

Go anywhere do anything

Lorier Falcon SIII save the rest, or spend in straps, or save for something else.

It is a little smaller at 36mm, but that makes it wear lighter.

I have a Christopher Ward Diver and I think the quality is phenomenal for the price. I am looking at a Chris Ward Sealander GMT or Dune GMT as a GADA. With duties and taxes you are nearing 1500.

At a lower price tier I am looking at a Maen Hudson GMT (you probably realize by now I want a GMT function). Value for money here too.

All 3 are below 40mm.

Don’t jump in to a watch your not quite sure about. Troll youtube at watches and find what interests you the most. Dont go for the hype.

For that money Hamilton a good shout in my opinion

Good luck on your watch journey, strap in it’s a bumpy road 🤣

If you are in the market for a Quartz can't go wrong with a Longines. On the grey market will be well inside the budget

Big fan of both of those brands

Another one on my list for sure. Good choice

Sinn all day for $1500

The previous generation Longines Conquest is hard to beat. Exceptional movement, 72 hour power reserve, 300m water resistance, solid bracelet, great “sporty chic” vibe, Explorer DNA for a fraction of the price. I love mine. Can probably be had for around $1k USD used. Well worth the hunt. You might get lucky and find new old stock.

Look no further than the Formex Essence. Fits your criteria and IMHO if you have this, you'll have fewer reason to look for a Royal Oak, Nautilus (or any other integrated bracelet watch), OP/Datejust, or Aqua Terra. Has all the best features of Genta integrated bracelet watches without most of the drawbacks, is excellently finished, and has the best-executed date window of almost any watch I can think of.

I’d put the Formex Essence 39 up for consideration. They look fantastic and are really comfortable on thanks to the great case design. 39mm diameter, 45mm lug to lug, 10mm thick and 150m wr, it definitely fits the GADA description.

I would also suggest the Formex Essence. Great finishing, interesting dial, innovative features and COSC movement. Super happy with mine, I don’t think there is a better watch for the price.
