I didn't know Seiko "borrowed" design elements from Heimdallr! I am shocked!!😳😂😂😂😂

Great photos. 😊

Very nice! What do you shoot with?

·

Helluva lens to that good photos!!

Impressively crisp printing too, dunno if my Seiko Willard is that sharp. 👍👍

@vintagefan and @Inkitatus Thank you both so much! I just use my phone ( Sony Xperia 5 V) and one of those clip on macro lenses.

Try taking some shots yourself and we can all take a look 😊

My phone is probably nearly as old as most people on here 🤣 Just look at how blurry my WRUW shots are. Really should get a new one, but that diverts funds from watches....🤣👍🏻

I tried to see how close I could get with my iPhone 15 Pro. This is uncropped, unedited, and using the built-in macro lens. No zooming in. Zodiac crown.

And the crown is tiny on this watch

If you added a clip on macro lense you wouldn't lose as much sharpness and detail. There are some really cheap ones and yet it makes a lot of difference. https://amzn.eu/d/0t3x4eP like this ones for example.

I've been thinking about one of these! Or perhaps the steeldive version... I love the look of the Willard from afar, but was considering one of these to test the water before sinking significant capital into the Seiko...

It is a really well put together watch and it goes for about 150€. The cheapest option would be either Steeldive or Addiesdive , they cost about the half of that. It's a very comfortable case shape to wear in any case. Seiko knew what they were doing when they designed it 👌
