I got my first Zenith around the time this was new. I got a Port Royal that I wore in my wedding. I liked it so much that later I got a titanium square case Port Royal. In hindsight I wish I had got the Rainbow as my second Zenith. I've never seen one in the wild, but I've seen a couple in person at watch dealers.
You know you are getting old when a watch you bought brand new is now considered "neo-vintage". I have a similar watch I bought back in 2003 with the El Premiero movement instead of the Elite. Congrats on the purchase.
I do like small seconds on some watches and have a couple with small seconds. Funny thing is although center seconds is pretty much standard now, it is a complication over small seconds.
