Show me your “fashion watches”

Hello fellow enthusiasts

Honestly, I think fashion watches deserve their place in the watch world. They look good, they are not that “expensive” (ok but now we all agree that they are maaaad overpriced for what they are 💀) and one gets to wear a branded product.

Though my first watches were casios and swatches, this Armani watch was the one that made me want to dress the part and wear a watch everyday (and eventually fell down the notorious rabbit hole 😮‍💨)

Now i’d love to see if anyone else went through a similar journey. please share ! 🥂

Some of the first pieces I considered expensive purchases were MVMT. They hold their place in my collection history for sure and are part of the story. No shame!

Random watches throughout my teenage years. Fell out of love with them. Two years ago decided to give up my Apple Watch because it was too distracting. Found my old minimalist fossil watch. Feel head over heels in love with watches again and research much more what I want. As long as you’re happy with what you have what others think isn’t relevant in my opinion.

This was a gift from my dad at a major life event, my first mechanical watch, and the one that kicked off my fascination with watches. And frankly, it feels higher quality than anything else I have as of yet. I wear it with pride. Ignore the name and most people would never guess it was a derided “fashion watch.”

I still have the Movado Museum quartz watch that I wore before becoming seriously interested in watches. I still love the minimalist design, and I'm not bothered by the fact that it gets dismissed by many in the community as a fashion watch.
