New Year, New Phone.
Since one of my favorite hobbies is photography as well as watches, I thought I would get a new phone that would satisfy my camera needs. It is the Google pixel 7 pro. One of its functions is an automatic macro mode. This is the shot of the back of my Casio a168 which is normally way too small for me to read with my old eyes. Once you get that close up, the case back is actually really ugly.

I once attended a portrait photography workshop. There was talk of how some models have a lot of interesting "character" which makes it easy to shoot them.
I asked insensitively, "What do we do if the model is ugly?"
Our teacher's response was, "That's your job as the photographer."
That's a really nice close up shot! I need to work on my photographic skills, but in the end I'm not the most motivated to look into it.
