Last years vacation love - the brown Longines Hydroconquest GMT
The Longines Hydroconquest GMT joined the collection last September on our Italy 🇮🇹 vacation. We visited the beautiful Tuscany and by walking over the famous bridge Ponte Vecchio in Florence, I saw this beauty in the window of an AD.
One nice conversation and non rejectable offer later, I called the Hydroconquest GMT mine 👍🏼. I love all the updates Longines did with this watch, compared the the existing Hydroconquest lineup. The colour tone of the dial is absolutely amazing and the new H-link bracelet with its on-the-fly quick adjustment clasp feels just perfect for me ✌🏼.

In Germany the Spirit Zulu GMT was priced higher at the time I bought the Hydroconquest GMT. But: the Spirit Zulu has an official COSC certification and the Hydroconquest GMT hasn‘t, although they are using the same movement (as far as I know). Nonetheless my HC GMT is running within COSC specifications (+2 sec./day).

Yes, the same exact movement...though model number in the Non-COSC version is different... Still Longines regulates and internally tests all their movements. They all run well.
That dial is something new and special - very bold, yet seemingly versatile. Great watch with a great story and memory already attached. Hope you make many more memories with it!
I don't get much chance to travel. In my budget it's travel OR watches. 😜 But this is one heck of a souvenir. That dial is superb!
