Today Baltic announced a new offering to their Aquascaphe diver collection: a 41mm titanium case diver with 300M water resistance and a brushed ceramic bezel. For whatever reason, I have been craving a 41mm-42mm dive watch. With the new titanium case, beautiful blue colorway, and my established love for Baltic, I jumped on ordering one.

I like it.

Man, I wish Baltic did a 36/37mm diver.

Wow! I love the simple design and the materials!
What I don’t love: the movement. I fear that the use of an unidirectional winding movement in a 55 gram watchhead could be a wobbly affair.

The pricing is also quite steep for a miyota powered watch without a bracelet.

but again: the Design is superb!

Do you mind elaborating about the movement? What could the consequences be?

the miyota‘s winding mechanism is unidirectional. That means that that rotor is spinning freely in one direction. you might be able to feel the watch wobble on your wrist. The lighter the case, the more pronounced that feeling should be.
