My wife grew up in a gated community in the mountain overlooking Taipei listens to my stories about coming of age poor, living in the Ward in Toronto eating copious amounts of mystery meats for lunch and dinner. She surprised me with 2 tins of SPAM after returning from her weekly food shopping, announced that she was not going to share, that I can enjoy the bounty myself, lol. It is obviously better in my memory but I intend to finish both cans with my free range organic eggs prepared sunny side up. Eating SPAM or travelling with my Breitling Transcocen Worldtimer, sunny side side up is how I see life.
