Definitely not a fan of the Citizen’s design. The SPB is much more unique, pays homage to its own brand history, isn’t copying anyone else and looks stunning. SPB all the way.
I'd pick the Citizen, but not that particular colour/version. If You'd used this version for Citizen you might have gotten slightly different results.
I do agree that this version is more of an apples-to-apples comparison. It feels more harmonious than the gilt, and I can definitely see the appeal (tho I would still go with the SPB143 personally).

The spb143 gets my vote…not a fan of the Mercedes style hour hand on the Citizen. Just seems less fitting for a tool watch to me 🤷♂️
