Quick-adjust Traska Venturer

Anybody else get the new Traska Venturer with their first-ever quick-adjust bracelet?

I managed to snag one of the Bottle Green dials before they sold out. Definitely my favorite Traska of the four I've had. The quick-adjust is basically the cherry on top I think all their watches have been waiting for.

I have a full write-up on the quick-adjust and a little review of the full watch, plus more pics, on my blog: https://toompieces.com/2023/11/26/traska-finally-has-quick-adjust-was-it-worth-the-wait/

I'm curious about everybody else's learning curve with this quick-adjust system. For example, it somehow took me 2 weeks to notice it had a total of 5 tightness settings -- I discovered the tightest two only by accident. I'm finding the button to be a little stiff, too. I just didn't click with this immediately for some reason -- it took some getting used to.

The quick adjustment is a game changer. My Henry Archer Nordso has it and I love it!

I have one of the Green Bottle Venturer's as well. The micro adjust is certainly not the easiest to use, but does get the job done if the end of you finger or thumb can handle the overly stiff spring. The watch is a "9.5", the micro adjust is about a "5".

The inner bezel could have a little more friction as well.

So good to hear from another user! Glad it’s not just me with the lever that’s too hard to press. The blue Summiteer is gorgeous in your photo btw, what a deep dial color that is

I am not generally a fan of low contrast color ways and Traska has several. The Summiteer Blue and the Venturer Bottle Green are particularly nice to my taste. I want to able to read a watch at a glance and both of the colors are stellar in that regard. Traska makes a really nice watch! The Miyota calibers seem to perform really well. Way better than most Seiko's up thru the 6R35.

It's literally the reason I bought the watch. I already had Lorier Hyperion (which I still love) and while its clasp is well designed, the lack of on the fly adjustment means I end up getting frustrated with it. Especially in the winter where I'm constantly going from a cold outside to a warm inside, a tooless microadjust is almost a must for me now.

When I saw the quick adjust I just sent an email maybe I can buy just the clasp to power up my Freediver. They answered they are working on a solution, and one week later in their newsletter they admitted everyone will have the chance to buy one! This is what they call customer service! 😍
