Sturmanskie Sputnik Heritage. Do you own any Russian watches?

A friend came by today to pick up a custom-made strap for his Sturmanskie Sputnik Heritage. It's a watch I never knew existed until a week ago. It's an interesting-looking piece, with a highlight being a seconds hand disk featuring an image of Sputnik, the first artificial Earth satellite, rotating around the picture of Earth found on the dial. Inside the 40mm case is a manual-winding Poljot 2609 movement. It's a limited edition of 2000 pieces.

I own a few Vostok Amphibias and a 40th Anniversary Yuri Gagarin (33mm) from Sturmanskie on a bund strap.

That's a very cool watch and a banging great match with the strap! Nice job!

I own a Vostok 'Pamfibia' that I really like!

I mostly liked my Amphibia, but sold it because I couldn't get over the non clicking bezel. It just seemed more like decoration than a functional tool component.

No. But I'm considering Ukrainian watches. Screw Russia!

I've got a load of Vostoks, but the one I really want is this:
