Zeppelin Memories

This stunning 40mm rose gold Zeppelin quartz moon phase (Hindenburg LZ129) was one of my very first watches when I got into the hobbie almost four years ago. It also had a day/date with a 52 week pointer hand on the outer track. I watched a review on this watch by TGV and immediately ordered it from Amazon. https://youtu.be/nwOPEl9L6Eo?si=XBlrci8QolpkBOZA I haven’t seen or heard a lot about this brand since purchasing it. There are many iterations of Zeppelin, mostly vintage inspired with great value proposition. A quality German made watch that isn’t talked about much in our beloved community. Regretfully, I sold it, yet I fondly think of it often. A beautiful time piece with a blue dial, domed crystal, and a gorgeous 20mm blue leather strap. It was quite the looker and a watch that made me further fall in love with this hobby.

I've always been a sucker for a good moonphase watch!

I'm always makes me happy when I see someone presentig his/her Zeppelin.

The more I dive in into the brand and the Company behind (PointTec) the more I positively surprised.

It's a true enthusiasts brand. We should always consider that their product and pricing policy is to aim the entry level. I had some talks with them and they really trying hard to produce as cost effective as possible but also offering something a watch nerd loves by own designs (even sometimes inspired but never copied). None of their big number of models with all of their brands are bulls...

Just to see their watches websites are a joy for me.

I resently bought also a Zeppelin Chronograph.

I had also just two days before a chat about Zepelin here.

And I wrote already a lot about the background of the company in my series about affordable german watch brands part 1 and 3.

The good thing is tgat Zeppelin always stays long time with their collections and do not switch every 3 to 4 years. So you can easily find that moonphase again as it is still a part of the resent collection.

P.s. their new series Mediterrane looks also exquisit. Even just white dial.

It’s attractive but does not attract attention. This is not the one that smacks home runs out of the park every night, but it will get you on base every single time. This is not your temperamental Ferrari supercar, but your well-mannered Mercedes. This is not the one night stand — this is the one you marry.

Love this!
