I currently own the PRX Powermatic 40mm stainless blue dial variant. I love this watch but lately I’ve had an interest in the 35mm gold automatic version. $825 is a lot to cough up for this watch. I only paid $550 for my 40mm. Also, I don’t like owning two watches that are that similar. Yet, out of most value proposition watches, this is the gold watch within its price range that would look great in my collection. I need some gold in my watch box. Any other suggestions out there for auto gold watches that would fill the void?

I’m hesitant for vintage RE: technical issues, servicing, longevity, unexpected problems, etc.

Caseback isn't PVD coated, dial isn't as nice and the clasp feels cheap; but it costs less than the quartz PRX.

The PRX quartz has the most value (within the Tissot brand) I have tried it and it's really cool.

Same here Tony except instead of gold, I just want the smaller size PRX. I ordered a rubber strap to see if it’ll wear better than the bracelet.

Hollow. You can still find them unworn and in new condition, but no longer in production. Happy hunting for whatever you find!

You will sold out to Certina DS-7. What a watch... Similar but not identical. Like what you're asking for :) That is on my radar. Whenever I got the money in a year, if i cannot save that much, i'll go with 40mm PRX digital (yeah i liked that too😂)
