Seiko Superior Set

I am super excited to own these magnificent time pieces, having the wooden box is a miracle let alone two of them. It's been quite the journey but these have been completed overhauled and will last another half century I should think. Keepers... definitely

What a pair of Beauties. I would love to see the movement on these ^_^ I’m a fan of great Quartz movements

To get an idea on the accuracy of the Seiko Superior - the 9F movement is rated to around 3 minutes per year, the superior 5seconds. I have had to spend sometime finding someone with skills to regulate these and at this stage it's guaranteed that almost every one of these will need servicing and many or most will never have had a service at all apart from a battery change. So it's hit and miss with what you end up with

Great pick up and having them serviced. Love the Seiko Superior, but so difficult to find good examples at a decent price.

BTW, the 9F has a rated rated accuracy of +/- 10s per year. 😁

I think it's 10s a year actually.. not sure where I got 3 minutes from. Superior's in good condition certainly aren't cheap. I also have this one.. also getting a health check - these were made with quality and attention that's seldom seem nowadays
