Great video! Good view point well presented.I have thought about fauxtina and vintage styling and how it will look in the future? Most good brands will out last their owner I want my watches to grow and age with me. So they look like they are part of my history. 👍

This is thought provoking indeed! If the patina is well balanced with a lume that is just, slightly aged. This would add to and give depth and character to a restoration. Too much vintage patina is jarring.

I think the examples in the video are very well picked and demonstrates that the Seamaster 300 - The Bond Spector model (as an example) looks much more appealing with white lume. The modern  Omega Railmaster would look better with white as well. There are just too many brands doing it and it looks contrived and overplayed. However there are exceptions; Nivada Grenchen deserve a mention with what they are producing at the moment. Faithful recreations of past successful watches - the chronomaster is a good example its a pretty cool looking watch. They have also done a chemically aged tropical dial with 3 6 9 which is a recreation of a 60’s model. This watch looks really cool and I can’t help but like it!
