Zodiac Super Sea Wolf - time setting defects
Question - has anyone had issues with setting the time on these Zodiac Super Sea Wolf watches? Just pick this up on ebay, new with tags, looks brand new. However it is defective, when I pull out the crown to the second position to set the time, turning it and the hands do not move.

Loose cannon pinion maybe?
I’ve had the same model for around a year. No issues.
I’ve had 2 Zodiac watches with STP movements and both had problems after about a year. I took one in for service and still no good. It’s a shame because I love their design. Look for one of their Pro Divers - they come with Sellita movements and are COSC Certified.
I had a similar issue with my Super Seawolf. Sometimes, after setting the time a pushing the crown back in, the watch wouldn’t start up again. Then inexplicably, it would randomly start up later. Had to take it to the local shop. I can’t remember exactly what was wrong, but it took them several attempts to figure it out. No issues since though.
