Im actually prefer watches that have design language which is cartier. In fact, i find myself in love with the tank americane as well. But i find myself picking up the polar more often due to its wearablilty.
Exactly when they both overlap in term of dial color
I voted Cartier even though it gets points for being unique in shape, brand, style, etc. The Explorer 2 has enough presence to stand apart from the VC and the other Rolex while rounding out a cohesive identity of confident class in the 3 watch rotation. The Santos sticks out as flaunting it a bit more than the others and, by comparison, doing so garishly. You know, in my opinion. ✌️

Given the total lack of context.....
Um why do we need to sell…if you absolutely have to I think the Cartier has to be the choice

Because both are bright dial, which somehow overlap.
I’m just afraid rolex will come out with a new 40mm Polar.
You never know if rolex is gonna to remake a new 40mm polar. The current 42mm is too big.
Tough call.

I think as i grow older, dress watch or vintage watch is hitting me hard.
Yes, i think vintages are something more rare than those hype watches.
yea, i just sold this recently. Would have kept it if it 36mm. 34mm is kinda of small for me.
I happen to found one like yours, but its a next iteration after yours. What is a good price to enter?

That Explorer (not the II) would be gone in a second.
Noted that. Let me analyse

You do you. For me, there are better and more versatile in the price range, but that is me.
Gmt = fad. Let it go.

Nah you’ll be fine
Nobody can tell you what to buy or sell, that's entirely up to you.
Your decision is the only one that matters.
