What is the best pilot watch from a large brand?

For my latest blog post, I picked 5 pilot watches from large brands under $500 (https://www.thecuriositytrips.com/post/guides-top-pilot-watches-to-buy-under-500). Here are four of them. Which one do you like the best? Did I miss any good ones? What would be your pics?

You're right about Stowa prices, unfortunately. At your price point, Laco might be your best option if you want a "genuine" flieger dial layout.

You make a good point, Glycine should be on the list. Which one would you remove?

For a traditionnal german Flieger inspired, Laco/Stowa are your best options.

For a modern take, Seiko/Orient/Citizen are other great options.

In the 500$ price range, you can also take a look into the microbrands, you'll find plenty for the price, Islander is the first brand that is coming to my mind

For that price, Glycine Airman quartz or Laco Fleiger (Miyota). I have experience with both, I give the edge to Laco. If you can find a Glycine with an automatic movement, then I might give the Airman the edge.

Oh, you make a good point. I avoided getting into microbrands to simplify the selection process, but once you go that way there is much to choose from.
