I've been watching a lot of watch restoration YouTube videos lately (I find them mesmerizing). Decided to take a stab at doing one myself. As I'm a complete noob I wasn't about to invest in anything costly then fail so found these two Orients with the same movement on eBay for under $40 bucks combined (hopefully between the two here is enough salvageable parts to make one watch work).
Not sure when I'll tackle this; likely in the fall as I have to finish some work on our vintage 1971 Fiberglass Camper prior to camping season then yard projects take over. However, I am pretty excited about trying this, it goes far beyond anything I've done so far watch modding and it gives me a great excuse to invest in some tools.
