Cuervo y Sobrinos- Prominente Clasico
After seeing a post from @Pavlov with his gorgeous vintage Cuervo y Sobrinos chronograph, I decided to try to find out more about this brand. There doesn't seem to be a lot of info available, but what I was able to find intrigued me. Swiss made, but with Cuban heritage.
I've always been attracted to rectangular watches, such as the JLC Reverso and the Cartier Tank, so when I first saw the CyS Prominente Clasico it grabbed my attention. It's reminiscent of those classics, yet has its own character. I'm still trying to make up my mind if I like the design enough to add one to my collection.
I'd be really interested in your thoughts on this brand, and on this particular watch. The photos were taken from the brands web site.

In the unboxing video, the watch just arrives in bubble wrap. It is actually delivered in one of the coolest watch boxes I've ever seen. They describe it as "humidor packaging".
I have never heard of the brand, thanks for the introduction. I will have to check out their designs. It seems like a great brand.
i'm a big CYS fan. they have a cool history.
My new CYS will deliver this week. They have a rich and interesting history in Cuba. Fantastic dials and you don't see their watches on WC. I'll share a post when it arrives this week.
