I turn the bezel a few times to make sure it is settled in between the clicks. Then when I am setting the insert I start at 12, holding it up at an angle, looking at the minute marks on the bezel and dial, lining them up, then lowering it down and looking at the 5 minute bigger mark on the bezel making sure it is lined up, then pushing it down and pressing firm all the way around. Also clean the steel part well first so the adhesive sticks to clean steel.
