They are fun watches that cost about as much as a night or two out on the town.

If you go in with realistic expectations about the watch, and don't pay over retail they make a lot of sense.

I wanted one because it has a Saturn on a dial and I'm geeking out on a space exploration.)

I took a moonswatch to a planetarium once, we had a very good time with my wife there and it's a fun watch.

I like it. It's like a toy for a grown-ups. Just like LEGO.

EDIT: Moonshine version is complete cringe, I've expected better.
