Another "new old" watch to the collection: as I wrote last time, I inherited a lot of vintage watches which need to be serviced, and this little Certina is one of them. It went to service as a non-working watch last December, and I though I never got it back from the watchmaker. But finally arrived this week.
It has a new mainspring and got a full service with a polish on the chrystal. The movement is a beautiful Certina 25-35 (the picture was taken before service):
I tried to figure out how old it is, the serial number on caseback (45009-2) suggests it is maybe from the 60s (according to this site).

I love this type of sublimely handsome and practical, elegant watch. Ultimately a long wait means that no shortcuts or quick fixes were done, so usually worth the wait.
fantastic! I hope the movement is all good now and you can enjoy this one now 😀

It's in great condition now, runs more than a day and it has +22 sec/day accuracy which is more than good from a 60 years old watch. Looks cool with this blue strap and really comfortable to wear. Fun little watch as I expected. 🙂
