Question for the strap makers.
My dad and I restored this old BMW together over the last 3 years. The drivers seat's leather split on one of the seams and it cannot be repaired, so our upholstery guy is going to make a new leather cover. I will end up with a lot of vintage bmw leather and Id I would like to use it to have a rally strap made. Do you think this could be possible or would the strap be terrible? I would want it to taper down from 20 to 16 at the buckle with a nice backing on it.

BMW did some brand tie-in watches. There were some very nice Ball ones, and later some more affordable ones that I think were done by Fossil.

I was thinking about this exact thing. There has to be a leather repurposing place that could do it. Maybe search on Etsy and message a seller? Let us know what you find out!
