Countdown Bezels
Trying to see if I left any out? Been keeping a running list of watches with a countdown bezel. Here is my list, in no particular order. Some of these are only going to be found used sadly. Maybe one day I'll prioritize by size, price, and year made.
Just my .02¢, but really wish more companies would add this insert style. Bi-directional or unidirectional, either are nice. For day to day use I find it terribly useful. Not just for work but for menial tasks.
Yes I know an elapsed time can be used as a countdown, but an ACTUAL countdown is easier to read at a glance.
Yes I also know you can use a digital watch, but as Obi Wan says, " .....a more civilized weapon for a more civilized age...", no? 😉

Whatever floats your boat but you missed Tutima and a gazillion others.
They do have a function, as do elapsed time bezels, pulsimeters, tachymeters, moonphases and telemeter scales. But 99.99% of WIS never use them. They just look cool.
Trying to name all the divers with bezels (they all can be used as countdown bezels) is like trying to count all the grains of sand on all the the beaches of the world.

From my own research tons of skin diver or straight up ISO divers from the 60's/70's came this way.

This is an FX Automatic that I bought years ago. Probably discontinued by now.
