Bringing back vintage designs

A question for all of you. I love the look of vintage watches but always worry about how much work and upkeep may be required, should I pull the trigger. I guess it might explain my attraction for brands like Zenith, who reinterpret past designs into modern offerings.

So my question is: what vintage watch or vintage aesthetic do you wish made a comeback in a modern offering? For me, if I could get faithful interpretations of the Seamaster 165.024 (yes I know the Peter Blake Seamaster exists), Baby Ploprof or Deep Blue Seamaster, I'd be down at the AD faster than you can blink!

For me, it would be:

  • #omega Constellation Pie Pan with a gold case more similar to the 1952 one.
  • #rolex Turn-O-Graph engine turned bezel
  • #accutron Astronaut

Gimme the bezel off a 16264 Turnograph. Yachtmaster vibes. The Astronaut is sick!

I second the Constellations with the classic case and pie pan dials. I can't stand the modern Constellation line with those awful bezels. It's an iconic line that has unfortunately just been an afterthought in the Omega catalogue for decades now.

Hamilton Otis. Will never happen, but it would be awesome.
