Black Bay 58 Bracelet Swap - The Saga Continues…

I’ve been on a streak of swapping out my factory bracelets to either achieve higher levels of comfort, to please my aesthetic desires, and just for fun. Today my President bracelet arrived from Uncle Seiko and I’m pretty happy with it. It’s a tad bit jingly jangly given they are trying to harken back to vintage vibes, but I have to give it to them for the comfort.

If you’re wondering what I didn’t like about the factory bracelet, it would be the discomfort of the folding clasp which a bit long for my smaller wrist and the shallow curve didn’t wrap well. End links are solid, links are solid, and the clasp is stamped stainless.

Looks great. Stamped clasp though? Can you purchase it with a milled clasp?

I don’t think so. But it looks as though it might work with a milled clasp from Strapcode.

I just checked their site and they do have a milled clasp for $12 more. That’s pretty good.

The milled clasp is only for their jubilee bracelet. I assume they'll create a milled clasp for the president bracelet soon.

I just messaged them...  a milled clasp is coming very soon!

Considering the BB58 on the fabric strap because I really like that it looks so good on different straps but at some point I'd like it on steel but I really don't like the OEM bracelet. This would be an excellent option. Thanks!🍻

I love the way that looks. I might have to try one on one of my Tudors..Thank you for the info...

As of late I've actually been using the stock bracelet. After getting a half link from Uncle Straps the thing fits like a glove.
