Best G-Shock Mod Ever!
It's not much. Just a small change, really. But the combi bracelet significantly increases the on-wrist comfort of this square.
This one is just an AliX knock-off I got on sale for a few dollars, but it has me considering the proper bracelet from G-Shock for sure!

That's a grail G-Shock right there man!! Did you order the combi from Pac Parts? It seems to be the best place I can find for them. That or eBay.

It’s from the GWB5600BC I owned. Loved the bracelet but couldn’t live with the negative display. I put that one on resin and sold it and picked up this GW5000U and added the combi from the GWB. Been wearing G-Shocks since the 90’s, had more than I can remember, and this one is THE one.

It helps it for way better! My wrist is actually a bit too big for a square, really. I just wear one anyway because I love the style. This takes care of that issue of the band being too narrow

I can't do the negative display thing. Child of the 80's I suppose. Digital displays should be grey! The worst is its getting harder and harder to find the positive displays

Totally get it. I have a casioak I wouldn't beat up. I also have the DW-290 and 291. Both good. Tough watches. Though I prefer the look of the 290.
Right?! Weird though. I have this solar zombie apocalypse watch that will likely outlast me as a casual wear. But the 290 that will loose it's paint if you look at it too hard and I tear that up digging post holes and the like 😂

I love the Frogman but can't pull it off, really...
