Watches used by West Japan Railroad Company (JR West)

The Seiko in the first picture is an official watch used by train conductor of West Japan Railroad Company. The watch has been issued 5 years ago, and I bought it from the auction site. It was sold as surplus goods, but I think the condition is still good. The diameter is 38mm, lug width is 20mm, and lug to lug is 42mm. The Casio in the second picture is W-96H-1AJH, and it is also used by train conductor. I found the post in the X that digital ones are used by train conductor who needs to check the time to second, especially when closing the door on the train. https://twitter.com/jrw_yamakan/status/1483355984688988162

The third picture is my collection of railroad related watches. Seiko pocket watch is used widely by train operators in Japan. Although all these watches are quartz watch and not accurate as Multi Band 6 Casio g-shocks, I like the design very much.

Pretty amazing set of watches. Train conductors in Japan are only of the few people in the world who need watches to have perfect accuracy.

I visited the railroad museum in Kyoto. I would of love to grab a JR branded and a ANA branded watches. I know you can get them on ebay but it would of been awesome to buy them in Japan.
