Does anyone else wear watches “wrong” like me?

Yeah, I’m one of those people who wear their watch on their dominant wrist. Done it “wrong” ever since I started borrowing my Dad’s old Casio in grade school.

It does make picking my WOTD harder though.

  • Will I reach into any tight spaces that may stratch the bezel or glass?

  • Will my dog decide to lick it while I’m at my desk doing emails?

  • Or will it magically gravitate towards a wall as you walk by that you would never hit unless you had ~13mm of extra thickness on your wrist?

(If the answer is yes to the above then I’m wearing yesterday’s post. 😁)

Jokes aside, I’m not sure if I would be able to switch wrists. Feels too weird. But I’m sure others have that ability!

The watch itself is a modded SRPD79. I worked with a creator to develop this vision I had, and was happy with the results. This is the watch that inspired my username, fun fact.

Happy Friday! 😎

I wear my watch on my dominant hand but I’m left handed so it doesn’t look out of place, I don’t really get issues like you have listed above 👆 to be fair I think you just end up naturally compensating

I had to smile reading this. I am a lefty and my old man insisted that I had to wear my watch on my left hand "because". No real reason other than that was the way he wore his watch. I am pretty clumsy, so I was pretty hard on my watches. At some point in my early 20's, someone pointed out to my that I shouldn't be wearing my watch on my dominant wrist. I switched and it felt a lot more natural to me.

Flash forward 40 years, and I recently ran into a fellow watch fancier who was pretty insistent that I was wearing my watch on the wrong wrist and that men wear watches on their left wrist and women wear watches on their right wrist.

Well call me Shirley and buy me a drink! I think the correct wrist to wear your watch on is the one that is most comfortable for you.

Wear mine on my dominant arm ,it does protect the crown

I’m a lefty who wears her watch on the left wrist. I’ve tried every so often to wear them on the right but it just feels weird.

I’m right hand dominant but completely bi-wristual. I switch teams all the time.
