A trip to the Omega Boutique on Michigan Avenue yesterday exposed me to the Omega Speedmaster 38 mm in the metal, so to speak. Though a nice โ. . .it was THICK despite a 14.7 mm thickness. With an MSRP of $5600, I began to think if the similarly equipped Racing Panda with grey market prices around $3350 would be a better buy. They both have the Omega Caliber 3330 and similar thickness. What do you think? Same mechanism. Same manufacturer. Same series. What would you choose?

I like Speedmaster 38mm but not in the color you proposed, because black is only for Speedmaster Pro, IMHO. I like the white and the blue version of these.
I've had... a few ๐
The original moon watch, 3861, hesalite, BLACK dial ... Can't believe I have to specify the color of the dial nowadays!
I owned it for about 3yrs now. No complaints.

Not too thick?
Not too thick?
Not too thick for me. I've even had it on a bund strap.
