Thank you โค๏ธ yes, I dreamed of Japan for all my life and once I finally got there I wanted to make the experience even better with this treat for myselfโฆ totally worth it! ๐๐๐ป
Does your handle give a clue as to what GS you bought? Shunbun/Sakura ๐ธ??
Ahah no, unfortunately no (not yet ๐ฅฒ). My dream watch is the SBGA413 (from which I derived my handle), but itโs still far to be reached ahah as a first GS I went for a SBGX263. Simple, but I love it! Especiallly the whole experience associated with it!
You canโt say you bought a Grand Seiko and then not show it! ๐
Which Ginza boutique? I went into two and passed by a third a couple weeks ago.
Also - crazy how the weather turned in a couple weeks. It was 90 and sweltering when I was there at the end of September, and you need a scarf now!
I was in the one next to Montblanc/The Royal Park Canvas 8 Hotel. A smaller boutique compared to the bigger one few blocks ahead โ I loved the cozier experience, I was the only one in the store ahah but I was there in March!
About the watch, here a sneak peek ๐Iโll make a post later

Still there? Go check the second floor at Wako to see some historical GS, and also Seiko Museum for more fun.
Also, Umeda Osaka now has a 6 floor watch festival on now that would be awesome to see if youโre popping down to Osaka.
Andโฆ some Sakura pics to inspire you!
Thanks for the amazing pics โ this is my absolute favorite watch! Congrats ๐
Iโm not in Tokyo anymore, this is a shot from March 23 ๐ฅฒ I was at the Seiko museum, and I found it fabulous! I might come to Japan again next February, letโs see if I can get another piece ๐

Also, if you go to Kyoto and you donโt know it yet, have a look at Kuoe! Itโs an amazing Kyoto-based microbrand. I love their Royal smith model
Congratulations on your #grandseiko
