A Vostok I'm restoring
Attached are pictures of a vostok I'm restoring myself, currently waiting for an original seconds hand from ebay to arrive.
the other thing that prevents it from being fully restored is the crytal, currently the crystal is kinda in a bad condition but i like it, might replace it at some point but not at the moment

Nice job.
The trusty 2409A movement keeps going and going, still used in some current products. Maybe one day I will pull my Cardi Vostok apart but the damn thing keeps ticking and keeping reasonable time.

the 2409a is the definition of a work horse movement, so easy to work on as well, truly a no nosense movement
I use a cutting compound like T-cut on my Vostok crystals and it really does make them like new again. The transformation on your crystal will be amazing in my experience.
