Anyone know anything about this watch? Wondering if it is worth getting fixed.

If you like them than they are definitely worth fixing. But in my opinion they need a nicer strap 🍻

Good point, it was what I had kicking around

Never seen one, never heard of one.

Checked Mikrolisk. "Caprice" was a brand name used by many unrelated makers. My bet would be on Watex or Dreyfuss based on the what I think the age is. I think that it early 1950's based on the textured dial. That trend came and went very quickly. I think that the movement is some variation of the FHF 175, but there are some on here that really know their movements. That would also put it in the right time frame.

Is it worth fixing? You will never re-coup service costs. But that isn't the end of the equation. If you like it and want to wear it, it will be well worth it. If you want to explore the other side of the hobby, it would not be a bad watch to start on.

Thanks for the insight! Probably get a quote or three on getting it running again.

Thanks, it was in my Dad's collection that came my way after he passed away. I don't remember him wearing it though.
